The entertainment director onboard is usually mostly behind the scenes. Next year, between two transpacific cruises that feature visits to Japan and Hawaii, Carnival Luminosa will again join Carnival Spirit to homeport in Seattle, operating seven-, eight- and 14-day sailings, and Carnival Miracle will return to San Francisco, where 10- and 11-day cruises are available. Is there an entertainment director schedule for Carnival Cruise ships? I expect a press release will be issued when the cruise directors for both of these ships when Carnival is ready to make an announcement.

The Carnival Cruise Director schedule covers all Carnival ships. Which Carnival ships does the cruise director schedule cover? In some cases Carnival shows a TBA as a blank space in the schedule. Even if for some reason your cruise didn't have a true cruise director someone onboard would probably act as the cruise director which would mean no visible impact would be seen by guests. Generally, the TBAs are filled in advance of a cruise leaving. This most likely means that Carnival has not finalized who will be on your cruise at a particular date. What if my ship has a TBA cruise director? Sometimes last minute changes may be made. You may show up to the cruise ship on embarkation day and find a completely different person as cruise director than the schedule reflects. I do understand that having a well liked cruise director is a great reason to want a certain cruise, but just realize things could change with the schedule. For this reason, I do not recommend booking a cruise solely to have a certain cruise director because I do not want you to be disappointed if the schedule changes.
